Trabzon shall get rid of garbage!
Mimsan, leading brand of local technology in the field of waste-to-energy, shall supply electricity to 100 thousand residences in Trabzon by RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel).
Evra Enerji, who is the investor of the biomass energy plan that is established by MİMSAN and that shall be commissioned on October 31, 2020, shall begin to sell electricity in January 2021.
Electricity shall be produced in the energy plant with the capacity of 13 MWe via RDF, which is obtained from the municipal refuse of Trabzon, by using gasification and firing method. An amount of energy, which shall supply electricity to almost 100.000 residences, shall be produced by converting 1000 tons of municipal refuse per day to RDF within the scope of the Project.
